Synesthesia [noun]; from the Ancient Greek 'syn', "together" and aeisthesis, "sensation".

Cinesthesia is a new collaborative platform for live cinematic events bridging the gap between sound and moving image.

We curate a diverse programme that include silent films brought to life by live scores, audio-visual dreamscapes, re-imagined favourites, experimental experiences and edgy live performances. From the producers of Filmphonics, Cinesthesia promises to go from strength to strength, creating engaging, immersive one-off experiences.

29.07.15: WALKABOUT + Live Score by Orchestra Elastique

Walkabout [1971] Dir. Nicolas Roeg: Two young siblings are stranded in the Australian Outback after being abandoned by their father. Forced to cope on their own, they are saved by a chance encounter with an Aborigine boy (David Gulpilil) who shows them how to survive, and in the process underscores the disharmony between nature and modern life.
